📣 ARTISTS WANTED!
We're calling on all badass artists, rebels, and visionaries to design our next T-shirt or sticker! The Autonomy Project invites you to submit your boldest, fiercest, most joy-fueled artwork for our 2025 Pride fundraising merch line. Your art could be featured on T-shirts and stickers worn by queer rebels, trans warriors, and sex-positive freedom fighters across Ohio and beyond.
Our 2025 Pride Art Contest is officially LIVE. This year’s theme? JOY IS RESISTANCE
What could you win? $400 in cash prizes + your design made into merch and free tickets to any event. Yes, even the fancy fundraisers!
Because in a world that tries to erase us, making art is resistance.
THEME: "Joy is Resistance"
We're looking for designs that radiate celebration, empowerment, and radical community. Feel free to lean into the political, the playful, or both.
Your submission can be:
- Pro-queer, pro-trans, pro-sex work, pro-DEIB
- Anti-capitalism, anti-racism, anti-oligarchy, anti-bigotry
- Funny, snarky, or sassy
- Focused on liberation, social justice, or community care
Required:
Your design must include the words "Autonomy Project" somewhere in the image, but it can be small.
ARTWORK GUIDELINES
T-SHIRT DESIGNS
- Colors: 1–3 colors max
- File Types: AI, EPS, or SVG required, CMYK color
- Format: Vector artwork strongly preferred for print clarity
STICKER DESIGNS
- Colors: Full color allowed
- File Types: PNG (high-res), PSD, AI, EPS, or SVG, 300 dpi minimum
- Format: Vector or high-res rasterized artwork accepted
PRIZES
- 1st Place (T-Shirt/Tank/Etc): $200 + free shirt of your design + 2 free tickets to any AP event
- 2nd Place (T-Shirt/Tank/Etc): $100 + shirt with your design + 2 free tickets
- 3rd & 4th Place (Stickers): $50 each + 5 copies of your sticker + 2 free tickets
- Finalists: Shoutout on our social media and Discord
All winning designs will be featured on our merch store, website, and social media. Artists will be credited prolifically, plus credited at our booth at Pride with QR codes to socials.
FINE PRINT
All submissions must be original. No third-party images, copyrighted characters, or AI-generated designs.
By submitting, you grant The Autonomy Project limited rights to use your art in our digital and print materials, including social media, website, and merch.
Artists retain ownership of their work and will be credited wherever possible.
Non-winning designs may be kept on file and considered for future use — with credit and consent.
DEADLINE & JUDGING
DEADLINE: April 30th / Winners chosen by May 15!
Winners will be selected by blind vote by our leadership team by May 5.
Multiple winners will be chosen. We reserve the right to decline any design that doesn’t align with our mission or values.
